Alex has now taken a back seat, and recent updates are by Robert alone, bearing in mind comments from the websites area of the UKIP members only forum, and Damian Wilson, the national webmaster.

Robert McWhirter

During his varied career, he has carried out web-related work for clients including Reuters, Tesco, NTL, Raytheon and UBS.

In summer 2007 Nigel Farage appointed Rob as chair of the Branch Website Coordination Committee, reporting to David Sinclair, with a view to advising on improving our web presence generally, suggesting policy for election candidacy websites, and looking out for all party websites other than the national one.

Rob's title is now UKIP internet assistant, reporting to David's successor, Damian Wilson.
